It is good to see lots more people looking at this site either having just bought an 'S' or thinking about getting one,when I bought mine about 5 years ago the first thing I did was to buy the 'Bible'
written by TVR guru Steve Heath it was invaluable then as a prospective owner as it is now. It covers everything you need to own and run the cars ,it is available thro the TVR car club or from Steve direct , as I am one of the million or so Orange broardband users being fckd about at the mo i cannot post a link however do a serch on this site or google him.
Another very knowledgble man is Steve Parker
who has produced an alternative parts list for the car,it can be downloaded from www.parkersteve.dsl.pipex.com/spar And Finaly Colins 
website is also a must and can be accessed thro his website by logging onto his sign in name 'Pies' thro his profile here.

Because of the crap connection I have with Orange/wannadoo i cannot check it , but do persevere it is well worth a look and the knowledge that your P and J is made up of a mixture of parts from a Lada to an XKS will enable you to sleep well at night !

Try replacing .asp for .html at the end of the link. Should work then.

I am surprised that anybody finds it useful - it can often seem more like a catalogue of errors than a blog of any real progress. Or... em...
maybe that's the "essential" attraction? Ah well if it makes you feel better about your own technical ability I suppose I've done my bit for the TVR S society. One day I'll get the hang of it all and then you'll be sorry...

According to www.vehiclelicence.gov.uk J160KLX is currently taxed, so looks like its still alive !

I genuinely wish I'd never sold it. I don't regret many things in life, but parting with that car is one of them. :sigh:

I hear most owners regret selling there S that make me so determined to hang on to mine
It didn't have the outright pace of the Chimaera or Griffith, nor the same presence on the road... however there is *something* about the S...
