Printing recommendations...

Can anyone recommend somewhere that will do bulk printing of negatives? I have about 1200 negatives that I want to get printed up. I would like to get standard 7x5's of everything and then order up enlargements of some pictures once I've gone through them all. I know I could probably try and take them to the High St but when a mentioned it to a couple of places they either baulked at the idea or the pound signs span in their eyes.
So, can anyone recommend somewhere else that I could use or even have a chat with?
Thanks in advance.

I bought a scanner and have started to make inroads into my backlog when I found out the high street prices. Frankly it is a long haul since it depends on what quality you scan at but I have found that using 2400 dpi I can do a 36 frame film in 2 hours! If there is something special in it then I rescan that frame at 4800dpi. I have calculated that I should be finished with the slides shortly and the negatives should only take me 10 years at this rate. ZZZZZZZZZZ

Hi, Are the 1200 negs individual selections or made up of complete films, if they are, "retro sets" are a lot cheaper. Do you really want 5"x7"? 6"x4" are cheaper and there is no cropping involved. The Fuji Frontier printer seems to be the best out there at the moment and believe it or not Boots use them, as long as you don't have a Muppet controlling it you can't go to far wrong there.
