Command and Conquer 3 Tiberian Wars

visitors from the US brought it for the PC for me, its ok but requires alittle more spec than my current system, all was good untill thre was a big fight and then it got very blocky
on the 360 pulled the demo and played for a while is much better visually on the 360 but i can't get moving units and grouping units sorted, apart from that game play on both is great

With a few like minded people over Xbox live it could provide many many hours of fun.
I can not wait for Xbox live and many hours of C&C fighting

I have it. Not that much of a fan really. I loved all the other C+C games so was a bit dissapointed.
Maybe i've just not got into it yet..

I bought it on pc, not really played a lot of it, but I love it. It got a bit of a slating because it is exactly the same as the original games just with prettier graphics, however that is the precise reason why I like the game...
I've played pretty much every incarnation of the engine right back to the pre-C&C "Dune 2".
I haven't got C&C3 yet because my PC isn't up to it and my RSI doesn't get on very well with consoles so, despite owning an XBox 360 for my son, buying the XBox version is probably a waste.
But I'm overdue a new PC and the Financial Controller has authorised a purchase, so you never know.

Got it. Played it. Fantastic. CnC as it should be.
The Scrin campaign is a bit weird but quite good (you've got to complete both GDI and Nod to get it).
If you're getting it I'd hunt down a copy of the "Kane Edition", it has a DVD of extras (blooper reels and stuff) very good and worth the extra IMHO.

Whats the control system like? I've tried Generals and didn't like it, much prefered the sidebar of the previous games.
Bog standard CnC controls to be honest for the most part. They make a big thing of directional armour and formations but to be honest never used them in the campaign (can you say meat grinder?
) the side bar is a bit different but it is very work able. The subtabs take some getting used too (basically if you build two barracks, you get two sub tabs, one for barracks1 the other for... barracks2. Makes it very handy to churn out ready made assault forces). ThePassenger said:

I just couldn't get on with the Generals way of clicking on your command centre to build something, clicking on your war factory to build a tank... Glad I got it as part of the box set for £20 - RA2 made up for the lousy Generals.
Shame there's no demo for the PC, so may just have to buy it anyway.
