Not really the subject I wanted for my first post here!

My 456 was stolen from my home on the Surrey / Kent borders earlier this afternoon.

They broke into the house, searched for the keys and took nothing else - looks like a well targeted job

The car is a 456GT in light blue (Azuro Hyperion) with grey leather. Reg number refers to the make and the number of cylinders

I expect it to be in a container en-route to the open seas by now, but in case anyone sees or hears anything, please let me know. If it is still in the UK, it is not going to be easy to get rid of.

Thanks all

As a suggestion would it not be more useful to post the Registration Number anyway?

Can a moderator maybe sticky this?

Sorry to hear about the car - it must be frightening when people enter your home too. The car is replacable, but the residents of the house aren't.

Fortunately no-one was home - someone knew exactly what they wanted and left everything else untouched

I have spent much of the day trying to figure out why this car at this time - I don't (didn't!) publicise it's existence. All I can think of is when I SORN'd it a couple of weeks ago (MoT up and not being done until the next service) someone has realised that this is a very easy way to build a list of desirable cars that will be in garages during the daytime.......

I feel for you, we had a 993 nicked 8 weeks ago, no sign of it i am afraid.........put pressure on the police to investigate properly or they sit on their arses and do the bare minimum.

Good Luck

After seeing that documentary a few weeks ago regarding stolen UK cars. I hope the police are checking the ports and the crates on there way to Dubai. Bloody large market there for stolen UK cars. I was shocked at the scale of the movement of cars, and the speed of shipment. They are ers

So sorry to hear about your loss. Out of interest, was a tracking device fitted? Hope it turns up and in one piece.

We had a Defender stolen from work (not quite the same I know) but I was still shocked. Always thought that stolen cars happened to other people not me.

I'm famous!

There may be some good news on this - the car was involved in an accident in Woking and has been recovered by the Police. No idea of the extent of the damage yet though

Watch this space....

Thanks again all for your concern

Hummm... putting a smiley on a news appearance on the theft of your PnJ? Knowing your car has been damaged..? I'd be pi***d off massively by the theft, let alone by the fact the car has been involved in an accident with damage unknown (maybe totalled?)

There is more than one shade of light blue. This particular car is Azzuro Hyperion which is a special order colour and very rare. In case anyone cares, for some reason many of the older Ferrari paint colours (like Azzuro Hyperion) are named after race horses. No idea why!
