Flywheels

Hi
Anyone got some super light flywheel for Rover V8. I see V8 tuner has aluminium but doesn't take 9.5 clutch. I am using cossie plate etc.

You could try John Eales but I think they're usually a 7 1/4" clutch ?

If it's low inertia you're after, would you consider twin plate in a small diameter?

mine is a JE engine and it uses the 7" twin plate AP Clutch. Very aggressive tho

I have one of the original Tuscan RV8 engines and it has exactly the same clutch as you show on your website.... I've always wondered if it was the standard fitment or a modification by the previous owner who had the engine in a Pilbeam single seater.

Its a very small diameter flywheel ! I ended up having problems fitting it to the bellhousing and T5 box..... couldn't get the input shaft of the T5 to engage in the inner clutch plate. John Eales ended up fitting a spacer plate to the flywheel which the clutch is now mounted to. The car is still a long way from being started so I'll have to wait a while to see how successful that has been.
