Can't seem to find the wheel nut torque settings anywhere.
Currently set at 110.
Car is a 99 on standard wheel and tyre equipment.
Anyones help would be appreciated.
Kind Regards.

The dealers set them at 55ft/lb give or take 5ft/lb, 110 is too high. Too much pressure can encourage the onset of disk warping when hot

Owner's Manual (January 1997, page 34) states 74lbs/in! Pounds per inch? What sort of a torque measurement is that? Presumably it should read 74lb.ft.

Thats the figure for 5 stud hubs/wheels (& its ftxlb or even lbxft BTW)

75-90 ftlb are the mooted torques for 4 studs I think specs changed over the years or maybe they have been for different wheel types?
