What colour is this 993?

Nice as this is, is it really "Lilac Blue Metallic" or is it Zenith or something else?

Money on Zenith,

I had a Zenith blue boxster in 1997 and always wanted a zenith 993 2/4S at the time. It did look purply in some light.

Possibly a one off/custom colour. Certainly doesn't look like zenith. Difficult to tell with the bright light reflection.

its not zenith I rang him a couple of weeks back when I was looking for a c2s, Its viola mettalic not my first choice of colour. These cars seem to look best in dark blue, black and silver.

Its definately not viola. Viola is much darker. looks zenith all day long to me.

The front end in that photo certainly looked like Zenith Blue to me - but then I'm no expert in the more esoteric colours in the 993 palette....

Definitely Zenith. The red filter on the pics makes it look more violet/purply.

Look identical to a certain Mr Beckham's car when I used to sort of knew him in 1997-1998 (he used to have a contract parking space next to mine in city crntre Manchester. Worth checking to see if it was infact his as it could make it worth the money as it was his first exotic car.

I'm pretty damn sure it's Zenith too! Don't people find all Porsche metallic colours metameric?? I remember seeing the first Rainforest car in the Porsche showroom ~ stunning! Saw it later in dull daylight....EUW! Like chewed up grass.

As pointed out previously, different light changes the colour quite radically.



The purple [blue red combination] filter is adding red to the image.

I've seen this car in the flesh today and it's defo Lilac.
My 993 was Zenith which had a purple cast but this one is much lighter and throws some pink.
