first impressions of my new (to me) sagaris
Discussion
well, probably i'm going to tell you what most of you already know...
superb, thoroughly recommended.... 9/10
only thing i can fault is that at 'higher' speeds, the steering goes a bit lighter than i would like. otherwise very happy. i bought this car completely blind of another PH'er, based on trust. and this is proof positive that there are good people out there and on here... the car was as described and we all saved ourselves a lot of time.
thanks matt for meeting me half-ish way it's a great car, will be well looked after and judging by the little pat you gave it when you walked away from it, you're probably going to miss it a bit...
if you go to le mans, let me know, as i'll be there and i'll get you a beer for all your efforts.... shame about the rain, you could never tell you'd had it valeted 2 hours before...

it was a pleasure. im so pleased you like it chum, reckon you deserve it
jo5eph - rather you than me mate! when are you getting it? if it helps i'm gagging to go out in it, but it's been puring with rain and the roads a a tad wet shall we say...
maxx-waxx - a different proposition between this and the gt2. on the track there is no doubt the gt2 is a much more sorted car, in fact it was beyond sensational. on the roads though, especially b-roads, i'd be happier with the sagaris, as driving it is more of an event and just more fun. i think it comes down to personal preferences and also the fact that i'm in the honeymoon period with this car. if i had the space, i'd have both, put it that way. different machines for different uses.

well done matey. Im glad you like what nerv and I affectionally called "the bear" - cute and loveable but every now and again it will get mad and bite you
driving the car was sensational and always an event - especially the start up procedure and its petrol spitting antics
and the sound oh the sound. the only noise i could liken it to was a merlin engine from a spitfire
i have no doubt whatsoever you will be very happy together. matt on the other had is currently inconsolable

Just wait 'til you get the Sagaris on the track then. No more heavy arsed nonsense to contend with, just exquisite balance and buckets of grip and adjustability. My bro (996 turbo owner) swears blind the GT2 is a sweet handler but the 996T was such a dog on the track it's hard to believe. The Saggy however is the same basic idea underneath as a Caterham and it shows. My tip is take out the seat squab and suddenly there's loads of headroom for your helmet and loads of support in the seats - british ingenuity at it's best!
the noise is awesome, i absolutley love it. in fact on the journey home round the m25 there's a section of tunnel between j25 and 24 i think. was in a bit of traffic there, but mananged to give it some in second and third gear.... had the window open.... now i know what it's like to be fully chavved up with a max powered nova...
the sound is stunning.... i am totally in love with this car, a keeper for life, for sure! can't wait to use it again though. it's been raining non-stop since i bought the car. the closest i get to driving it at the moment is watching the top gear review on you tube.
i have never felt this way about a car before. i'm sure it's unhealthy.

perhaps im being a bit dim here - but what is the problem with driving it in the rain??
I've not yet had the pleasure of a drive in a Sag, but if the Cerb is anything to go by, its just great fun. Granted, you have to be a little cautious, but when there is space to play with you'd be amazed how progressive TVR's can be when provoked.

The thing about the sag is the lack of attention it brings. I only got 2 people taking pics of it today. Thank god i never got a lime green one LOL.
Rob did u get chance to drive the beast today. I had a chance to put foot down today as I actualy got the oil temp up. Jeez this thing is quick, so precise too.
