Wow-cool work but they must be massively expensive and busy!
Busy... yes, very. He deals with each project/work personally, so you can guess he can accept only a limited number of cars.

Thats great to hear- you are right- what bugs me is when you go to a "specialist" repairer who has some spotty 19 year old who was painting corsas the week before. So if you are getting specialist care from someone who really understands Ferrari paint (ie how thick should it be, how much orange peel should there be etc) then its well worth the money.
Any comments on Body Technics in Slough? Have been recommended them by Maranello Egham for insurance job (car vandalised).....went there this week for a quotation. Despite there being quite a few exotics ie F430's, 360's, Masers etc, are they any good? I have read prev posts where they had mixed reviews ie decent work/poss service etc. I'm actually going to see Prestige this week so the posts above sound promising!
Again guys, I would go to Shane not a single doubt in my mind. And you will not see any 19 year lad laying his hands on your PnJ. He will be on top of the job, hands-on, very professional and a car enthusiast himself, so he understands what a Ferrari/Lambo/Maser owner expects.
He is a restoration specialist.
I would say give him a call, go there and talk to him, see his workshop and his work (whatever he may be doing at the moment) and then decide. It's your car and your dosh in the end.

Seconded re: Alan/Karl at Specialised. They're about to do an Elise of ours.
I would recommend the paintshop used by Fernhurst (Liphook coachbuilders or Liphook Coachworks I think) - who did the best matching job on an Orancio Atlas Diablo SV that I owned - and the finish was first rate. The polishing and blending in was (to my eyes) undetectable.
They're not the cheapest - but I have used them to touch up front end stone chips on several Diablo's amd Ferrari's - and have not been disappointed.

My old 996 C2 went there when damaged by a Transit. They matched Vesuvius grey perfectly (apparantly a difficult colour to match) so thumbs up from me.
