Decided to get the wheels painted on the Murcie - as well as getting a "tune-up", LP640 (aka Focus!) style side-repeaters and a few odds and ends!

Wanted a "factory" look for the wheels - like the latest Titanium effect on the LP.

Work was entrusted to Alan Robb's (PH'er - Ruttboy) outfit - Broughtons in Pangbourne - and an excellent job they made of it too!

Every little detail was taken care of and nothing was too much trouble (they even fixed a few minor issues without me asking!)

Car is now as new again!

A few (poor quality) photo's - I will try and get some decent ones at the weekend. Big thanks to Ruttboy and all at Broughtons!

Love the car colour and wheels, they work VERY well together !
The photos aren't bad at all mate, good job !
I guess if it was sunny it would just show everything off a bit nicer

Im in two minds about the wing.
Personally I LOVE GT wings on the right cars
ex:

But just imo, I'm not too sure about your one ?
Perhaps if it was more FULL FAT ?

Anyway, nice to see people doing a few things to them

How about the exhaust ?

Yeah, I'm in two minds about the wing myself....BUT....it does REALLY help above 170MPH (on the autobahn of course)...car feels a LOT tighter at the back end.

Exhaust is a TUBI Rumore ...i.e.... LOUD !!!! evil

Car looks stunning!! Have you thought about puting some tint film on the rear lenses? also, the tips on my tubi go right up to the edge of the bumper, yours look like they are inset about an inch or so? maybe just the photo angle or more likely I have a dud install.

Hadn't thought about rear lens tinting - you got any photos of yours?

My Tubi is about 1" recessed from the top of the surround (a nice carbon one in my case!) - but probably flush with the bottom edge.

I will beg another favour from Jon and see if he can post!

I haven't had my tailights done yet, I found a place in the US that stocks the film pre cut to size at £20, trouble is it looks way too dark for my liking so would prefer a more subtle tint, I might just order the £20 film and see how it looks on the car, will send you pics when I get the film on.

John was the one that spotted one of my Tubi tailpipes was 3 mill longer than the other....Geek!! , John, if you get a chance post a pic of my car from the rear so Darren can see what im referring too.

Dealmaker,

Only too happy to help. What with Bentley, Aston Martin, Koenigsegg, Spyker, Ascari, world domination of all things supercar will be mine

In all seriousness, thanks for the chance to do the right thing Darren, I appreciate your patience and understanding, and I did promise the end result would be worth it.

And I am only too happy to help all of you, you just need to give me a call.

Cheers,

Ruttboy.
