CDR-21, CDR-22 - Help
Discussion
I'll start by saying I,m new to Porsche!!
My boxster has a CDR-21, but four of the buttons have gone from black to white and they dont look the best so I want to change the unit, can anyone tell me..,
Whats the difference between a CDR-21 & CDR-22?
Is there anything else available from Porsche? I would like to keep the dash looking standard so I do not want to install any other unit (Alpine etc)
Any info, manufactures, part numbers, etc will be greatfully recieved - Cheers

I don't know about specific model numbers but a a lot of the M/Y 02 and before was Porsche badged Becker units. Be careful with M/Y 03 because Porsche started using equipment connected in some "special" way which I didn't understand when some Boffin tried explaining it to me.
Anyway the point of my mutterings is thatb if you check the adverts in the back of the PCGB monthly magazine or one of the Porsche magazines like 911 & Porsche World, you'll find an ICE trading company that sells the units at a discount, but without the Porsche logo.
