I managed to keep it upright, despite the feeling of riding into a brick wall. Have just finishing cleaning the blood and fur off my bike, leathers, gloves, boots and lid. Now I feel sick.
Martin,
What action did you take. Shut the eyes and go straight, or was there evasive action required? Always wondered what to do it this situation.
We had a bull in the middle of the road in Spain last year, but I guess the results would have been a bit different...especially as me mate was on a Red CBR! My plan was feck the bike and run.

Well there were three options:
1) Try and manouevre around it and then risk hitting it with an unsettled bike or;
2) Try and avoid hitting it by braking and then risk hitting it with an unsettled bike or;
3) Keep the bike upright and arrow straight: 50% chance of missing it, 50% chance of hitting it in a stable state.
Seemed the best option.
