I'd be more worried about the "ruffled" - god why do people do it? grey inserts would look quite nice with seal IMO

996 Turbo (2000/W [01 model]) Price: £40,995.00
996 Carrera 4S Coupe (2002/52 03 model) Price: £38,995.00

Against.
996 Carrera 2 Tip Coupe (2002/52 03 model) Price: £35,995.00
996 C4 Tip Coupe (2001/51[02 model]) Price: £34,995.00

The price diffrence between these "cooking" 996's and there more indemand brothers seems to be getting very small.

£3k more for a C4S, was that not more a couple of months ago?

I *guess* the 997 prices have been pushing them down quite heavily.
