Camshaft Rover V8 Question

I am changing engines from 3.5 RV8 to 4.0 RV8. The new engine has the GEMS front end - I need to convert it back to the old SD1 front end but the camshaft nose is different. The dilemma is should I be impatient & use the old 3.5L cam or wait & buy a Piper 270 cam?

P.S. I don't suppose anyone happens to have a Piper cam sitting around unused or knows where I can get one from in East Anglia tomorrow?
