Hi all,
Just got a quick question.
I have no knowledge of how much a car is worth or how much i should sell one for so i would like to ask you guys (and girls) how much i should sell the following car cars for. I don't need an exact figure such a ball park figure.

Boxster Wreg 2000
2.7 Guards Red
17" alloys
17K miles
black leather int sports wheel.
CD player, chrome pipe
MOT and taxed

The other Boxster is exactly the same but with 26K on the clock and is black instead of Red

Would like to see the price difference and how much it is worth if sold privatly.
Thanks all

No knowledge at all you say?
None?
Quentin Wilson suggested that you could pick one up for £18K no probs, so if you want I will pop down from Glasgow and take it off your hands for said amount.

No, no don't mention it, it's my pleasure.

HAHA v.funny. I know that they are in between £25 and £30K. went to a Porsche Dealership on Saturday (Linbrook) and there was a Red Boster there going for £30,995 and that had a 1,000 more miles than the one that i am trying to sell! how can they ask so much???

its between 23,000 and 26,500 depending on whether you trade it or sell it privately.

red ones are less popular than black, blue or silver so tend to get marked down a bit.

dont forget dealer has to service it, possibly fit new tyres and put a warranty, probably totalling 2k even before they add a profit margin, hence they need to buy cheap to be able to sell.

If you are serious about selling i have a friend whom is possibly after a red boxster 2.7!

Yep, it's me.
And I'll stretch to £18.5K, and a copy of the new Autotrader.

I reckon 26K to 27K is a realistic price for a private punter.

You don't mention whether the cars have air con. If not, the value will be significantly lower as was discussed on another thread.
