just returned this week from a 9 day trip in the griff, travelled from the isle of wight up to fort augustus, had 7 days touring the highlands, then down to south wales for a couple of days, then back home.driving
the old girl never missed a beat, the griff went well as well hehe and with a total of 2700miles covered, I`ve calculated that it was returning an average of 27mpg, pretty good in my book, and definately going up there again next year as well, those roads and scenery are just awesome.thumbup

Sounds like you had a good time. I'd be pleased with that consumption.

it was good consumption, but when you consider that about 1500 miles was on the motorways, which is the most economical place for a v8, cruising around the speed limit hehe but she still cost me a few hundred quid on fuel, but worth every damned penny!

What is this mystical figure that you say exists?? That's pretty good. I got 31mpg on a sensible run. But now as I drive the car occasionally mid 20s at the best.
