I wanted to know why a thread was deleted that I posted in. No idea why it disappeared so I'm curious. It was here a few hours ago but now its gone for some reason.
The title of the thread was 'Always wear a seat belt!'

I guess because it showed two guys being killed, although the tread did tend to go on for a while so perhaps something else was posted I missed.

Just a suggestion, as I know moderating can be a difficult line to walk, couldn't you have just deleted those posts and left the discussion running?
