Unmarked Cars - WARKS

Hi All,

There are a few new unmarked cars doing the rounds on the A46 and in and around Coventry, Warwick, Leamington etc etc.

Look out for a silver 335i saloon on an 07 plate LG07 something or other. Also a blue Focus ST and a couple of STI Imprezas. All unmarked and out to catch you misbehaving. Gits!

Edited to add the following.........

The silver BMW and blue Focus were/are on trial. However, Warks plod will be taking delivery of a silver and a black Focus ST and also a pair of STI's (colour TBD) in the very near future.

there was an unmarked bmw on the a46 near nottingham last night. it was flying down the road at over 120 with its lights on, but didnt seem to be chasing anyone.

white or black?

there are 2 unmarked BMW estates patrolling the A46 dual carriageway from newark to lincoln.

ones white, ones black.

also spotted a silver skoda octavia on the M69, FJ07 TLX

I've seen these two BMWs aswell. Also look out for a black new shape 5 series saloon in the same area. I spotted one which looked to have srobes mounted in the front kidney grille but no camera that I could see. Is this plod or someone else?

strange isnt it, that program on the telly, with the A46 accidents on the single carriageway part of the A46 and all of a sudden, the police are all over the dual carriageway like flys round, erm, poo.

forgive me for being a non believer but surely the dual carriageway is the safest part?

patrolling the dual carriageway could lead people to think the single carriageway part has no plod on it, and put their foot down since yesterday when i went down the dual carriageway I spotted 3 cars, id gamble my bets that almost all the plod on the A46 where spotted already so putting my foot down on the bit further up would be less chance of getting a pull.

so using my non linear thinking, they are potentially encouraging more stoopid drivers to go fast on the bit where all the accidents happend?

Saw a Silver # Series BMW (possibly the 335 mentioned above) just next to Goldicote Buisness Park, which is about 3miles away from A46 Longbridge Roundabout next to Stratford. Pulled over another Black BMW

The 5 series estate definately seems the be the weapon of choice around Lincoln. I often notice a maroon coloured one driving around with lights hidden in the grille as well. I've also seen an unmarked Octavia VRS (old shape) on the A46 between Lincoln and Grimsby.

Got to keep your wits about you!

The 335 has been travelling in convoy quite a lot with the black ARV 5 series that Warks have. Could've been that one?
