Audi A4 Cabriolet 2.0 TDi

Hi,

I've just ordered one of these for delivery end of May.

Does anybody have one and if so any opinions?

I've based my order entirely from the experience I had with a courtesy A4 Cab 2.0 Tdi..but that was last summer and i'm trying to make sure the drive was as competent as I remember.

I've spec'd it with the S-Line Pack plus the S-Line exterior pack..in phantom black.

Got a Sport 140 Tdi 2 months ago (new 07 plate), am very pleased with it so far. Not the quickest from the blocks but that's not what you choose them for, there's a rattle with the hood down but no more than expected.

Cruises well on motorway, good mpg, good overtaking and handling o.k.

TBH my only gripes are that you can't open the boot without the blipper and the seats don't move back when you've tipped them forward. Hardly major stuff!

Your spec sounds good, sadly I couldn't stretch to S Line when I ordered mine on a lease. That's probably what I'd choose next time.

The 2.0D sport is a car I'm thinking of going for next. I have been told that their is a 16-18 week lead time on them at the mo anyone else been told this??

If so I had better make my mind up fast.

I ordered mine at the end of March and the order form quoted 10 weeks for delivery so looking to have it by 10th June.

Double checked the order time with Audi main dealer system too and it quoted 8 to 10 weeks at the time.

we bought in a A6 just last month and I was told that 8 weeks was the norm on the whole range barring the TT and some of the RS stuff.

Ordered mine mid December, was quoted mid April delivery. Thankfully arrived beginning of March 07.

Had a TDI cab sportline since Xmas. Its a fair bit slower than my old car, but theres enough poke for most situations. Its also a great cruiser for a long journey, and easily achieving quoted mpg. Discovered a couple of rattles, but think this is where the side glass has no surround. Gets a lot of thumbs up from my mates!

Been told the car is being delivered next week so in total its taken 8 weeks for delivery from order.
