Lurker apologises for the overly aggressive tone of his earlier message, and has edited it to adopt a more appropriate tone.

I really didn't appreciate you revving your engine several times to impress whoever at 3.30am.

My mates on the street (one of whom took your number) didn't appreciate it.

My dad, who had to get up 1/2 hour later to do a days lorry driving didn't need it.

Don't do it again.

Are you working for the ARA? Is it a national organisation ? I get people annoying me on a frequent basis but have never felt the need to use PH bandwidth for it. Take it this is a local guy and he's on here.

He's probably local, but I doubt he's able to read.

It was a letting-off-steam post, an observation on brattishness in the guise of a targetted message, and the fact I need to explain that suggests I didn't write it too well.

I don't see a problem with using PH bandwidth for it though; half of that seems to be taken up with moaning anyway, often on the subject of yobbish behaviour.

You are probably right in your implied advice to let it go, but I'm getting old, and I reserve my right to be cranky.

Gosh and this happend once did it. Imagine the inconvenience! I'd have thought you'd have to get up around then anyway to change your incontinence pads what with you being old?

I'm no fan of excessively loud exhausts, but one off events are not worth getting wound up about.

It wasn't the exhaust, it was the purposeful revving of his engine at maximum power several times at 3am to show what a rebel he was that grated.

Anyway, how is me getting wound up by a noisy brat any worse than you getting wound up by a topic you see no point in?
