wet track tyre pressures 996 gt3rs
Discussion
Hi,
If its dry, try hot pressures of about 33psi all round. You may have to bleed them down 2 or 3 times before they stabilise at this level. Make a mental note of how much air you've let out so you can put it back in again before you drive home. (Apologies if I'm stating the bleeden obvious here but its worth repeating).
Damp track, the same is ok. If its standing water wet then I (I might be in a minority of one here) suggest over inflating to about 40 psi. This has the effect of opening up what little tread there is on the MPSC's and will help to displace the water a little.
If the forecast is really pants for tomorrow, I think Bookatrack still have spaces available for Wednesday and its open pit lane on the GP circuit.

Guy,
tnks - i shall give those a go.
Kurgen,
no it's as u left it, jzm told me when they had it last week that it's set up soft for the 'ring. i took the view to leave it as is because i assumed the first trackday would be a wet one. the ceramics are now in several boxes and alcon's are to be bed-in tomorrow.
