On my car I have a little toggle switch hidden away under the dash by the heater controls. When "on" the hot fan comes on at full tilt.
The original hot fan round button does not seem to work at all (on/off and speed)
I am aware there is a mod for TVRs to protect against overheating, I thought this was some sot of thermostat issue that brings the fans in to cool the rad at a lower engine temperature. But this switch got me wondering, do you think this switch has anything to do with this or do you think that it has simmpy been added as an override to the heater knob? A cheap fix for a maybe a heater cable problem?
