A quick question

Are there any legal requirements about keeping chilled food out of refrigeration?

When (many moons ago) I worked from Sainsbury's we were told 30 minutes

I was wondering if this was still the case?

I found a fact sheet [url]www.food.gov.uk/multimedia/pdfs/sfbbchilledstorage06.pdf[/url]

I was in the firms loading bay a few minutes ago and there was a lot of chilled food there that according to once source may have been there about 6 hours or so

Thanks in advance!

Hmm

It seems the food was there a while but was inside regs

P.S. What did I do wrong with my URL switches?

If you want to just give a URL, you don't need to put it inside URL tags.

If you want to give a named URL (like my ones) then you do name|URL with the URL tags at each end of the entire thing

[ url ]name|http:// www. url. com [/url ] less the spaces.

I'm a bit surprised it's inside regs. As I say, yuck - the kind of stuff that wants to be constantly refrigerated is not the kind of stuff I'd be happy to eat after 3+ hours unrefrigerated.
