Is there anyway not to use the DPS, as it seems a way for the government, in in fact any industry body to find out information on financies, etc.

So they will be able to see subletting, how much money is coming in per month (assuming the deposit is a % of the rent), if you are making moeny and not declaring, amongst a range of other things.

Anyone found a way to write into the contract something that means no to the DPS scheme (aka secret tax info)??
