Been taking a look in the nose cone now that the rads out for recoring. Found two spare connectors, one with two wires to a spare twin connector - neither live with ignition on or off. The other is a six way spare connector with four wires connected - black (earth?), white (switched live?), white/black (?) and green/pink(?). Checking for voltages with the ignition on I have one with around 5 volts (but constantly changing voltage) and two with around 0.5 volts (again changing around that voltage constantly).

Taken a look at the bible wiring diagram and wiring guide but can't fathom these wires. They emerge from the wiring loom together alongside the temperature sensor for the frost warning (I think that's what it is - a cable with something resembling a coax cable plug on the end).

Does anyone have any idea what the two connectors are for and should they be insulated since they are just behind the front grille.

They emerge alongside the alarm which I belive is a Meta alarm ('98 model) and still in situ (and working).

Just changed the indictors on mine year 99, I have a 6 way connector and 2 way on pass side and a 2way on driver side all unconnected, let me know if you findout what there for.

Poss some could be AC related ie connection for stat.

Have checked the drivers side and can't see any spare - just the two cables on the nearside. Any further thoughts?
