My roof lining is sagging right across the roof.
Is it an easy job to pull it off and re-glue it back into place?
What work is involved?
I have heard its a bit tricky around the windscreens!!!??

Thanks.

No idea, never done it. Just a passing thought though - could you syringe glue through the fabric without the need to remove and replace it?

I had thought of doing that, but the area is too big and I know it will be a disaster.
I do have a few sections of leather that I keep meaning to try this method on. As my wife is a nurse it shouldn't be too hard getting hold of a good syringe.

If i were you i would take it in to a good trimmers. It wouldnt cost a lot to do.Those sort of jobs i would leave to the profesionals.

Nah - have a go yourself ...

the roll bar section pulls away (I know mines fallen off)

Is yours leather or hessian ??

if hessian get can of spray glue with a nozzle and poke thru the hessian couple of squirts
job done !

If leather try and losen enough of the material to spray in from the roll bar

Cover everthing else with dust sheets to avoid glue over spray or drips

Dont stay in car too long or you will be high as a kite !!

failing that take to a professional (but thats what they will do anyway)

So is the roof lining in two sections in front of and behind the roll bar??
If that is the case then it may be quite a fairly simple job.

"Take it to a professional"!!! That's blasphemy hehe
