Some shots I took at the Ring on Wednesday 8th May 2007, in the pouring rain.

Alfa 75

Opel GT

Mercedes-Benz CLK DTM AMG Cabriolet

Porsche

Audi R8

Me, afterwards, relieved!

And here was me thinking this was a forum about cars, not fashion

Hush Puppies. Nice and comfy for driving, don't look great in the rain, but they kept my feet dry...

Its terrifying there in the rain. One minute you're wondering what all the fuss is about, next minute you're sliding down the foxhole sideways praying you don't kiss the armco.

You're right - it's the GT. Thanks.

It was my first time at the Ring, so I was driving slower than a slow thing going slowly!

No, it's definitely a bloke - it's clearer from some of my other photos.

I thought they'd all be ok, being locals. The R8 and Merc were definitely doing some kind of corporate "experience", and the Alfa was working.

Should I still go back and blur them all? Is that the general ettiquette on the forum, or just for Ring pics?

the R8 is on Ingolstadt plates and so is probably owned by Audi themselves

the Opel is on Groß Gerau plates and so is probably owned by Opel too

the 75 is from a 'ring experience' company, surely they are insured?

hopefully the DTM owner can afford TPF&T
