Ted, myself and 2 other PH'ers are doing the 2CV 24hr next weekend (the B/H weekend) at Snett. Does anyone have a pit wall shelter we could borrow for the weekend to keep the rain/sun/snow off our pit crew?

I've got an e-z-up but guessing you want a sort of bus shelter afair ??

Failing that how about some tarts with umbrellas hehe

Ta, yes it's the bus shelter type that we want, cos I don't think my girlfriend will take too kindly to standing on the pitwall for 24hrs holding a brolly!

I'm off borrowing various motorsports stuff, tomorrow, I'll see what the other guys have got.

Re other halves and umbrellas, reminds me of when Mrs Inc was trying to keep us both dry in the holding area (in a pissing down Wales predictably)

Just in case you ever need to know the worst way to answer "My trousers are getting soaked" try saying ...

"if you laid of the cakes for a bit you could wear a short skirt"

Even worse for you umbrellas are banned on pit walls - bit dangerous having them next to the track, plus it's usually so windy at Snet you won't keep one up!

Pitwall shelters aren't allowed i'm afraid (restricts the view for teams further along the pit wall) ,however galoshes are.

Well that buggers up an otherwise brilliant idea!
