I cant' believe you rejected mine for being too lairy and now are suggesting these!! laugh

Dainese aren't too bad, I've got a one-piece Dainese suit but I had promised myself never again after an old 2-piece set fell apart in 2 years. I impluse bought it and wish I'd held back and gone for BKS now.

If it was my own choice out of those two then i would go for the two piece leathers.I always buy two piece leathers now so that if you go out for a ride in the summer you can stop and take the jacket off and walk around rather than melt inside your one piece.

They're not that bad, are they??!!

For a couple of hundred quid, I wouldn't mind too much if they fell apart after 2 years. I'm just struggling to find anything I like that I can have within 2 weeks (Spain trip).

Cheers mate.

Ok possibly another point. If you were perhaps to put on some extra weight later on in life you could possibly get away with just buying new trousers.Or if like me you decided to go for a trip down the road minus the aid of the bike you was on you may only need to replace the trousers. hehe

Hmmm... I think I'll leave it at 1-0, as the 2 piece has the.... well, 2 piece advantage!

Cheers.

Another vote for a 2 piece. When on hols with the bike where it’s hot during the day but cool at night, you can wear the jacket on the walk back from the bar to the hotel/camp site rather than having to carry another jacket with you.

I can't think of anything more gross than buying someone's second hand leathers.

I obviously apologise for being no help whatsoever

Nick, cant see Fleabay items at the mo.
What size are you? Looks like I have an Arlen Ness one piece which will be unused for the next couple of weeks
I'm 5.9 and 44 chest, and it fits fine and dandy. If you want to try, see how it feels, give me a shout.

BKS - the best leathers you can get! (IMHO)

Chilli,

I'd opt for the two piece every time. Have had both 1 piece and 2 piece and unless you're on track 99% of the time, a 2 piece has to win.

I'm only about 10 mins from the seller of the 2 piece, so if you want someone to look at it for you before bidding, and the seller is OK with that, let me know

Cheers
Matt

True but if I fell off track or road I would alway prefer a 1 piece. What price your skin.

Must be the equealiser chilli

Except that a good two piece (all around zip etc.) is just as good as a 1 piece - hence they are allowed on track days. Any "event" that causes the two pieces to part company is going to do the wearer some pretty serious damage anyway. The "extra" damage is propably going to be of little importance!
