Oh what a let down.....

Well, after having the car at the garage for a few days (for the first ever job ive not done myself i hate to add!) im getting close to having her back...
Anyhow, the manifolds are now fixed with new flanges, and have been repaired but still tick somewhere near the top...
The guy called me last night as the section i got from darren (not blaming you at all chief!) for somereason doesnt fit! Problem is that the old one was a pain to get off (wasnt joined over the drive shaft so only one piece) so he chopped it up, and hence cant put it back on!
Ive only heard it with the centre box on and no rear section but its really quiet.
I loved my old system so much but it was totally shagged and needed changing...
looks like ive spent a fortune and lost one of the best aspects of the car....

Looks like it...i havent got it back but from what ive heard so far its no where near what i was! Im so gutted...
Ive only heard it with the centre section on (as i no rear section) and it sounded so different...
It sounded 'Nice' but not raw, poppy, bangey like it used to...
All i can hope for is all the packing to come out! I knew i should have gone for straight through!!!!

Matt it wont fit a standard system as it was custom made, Blaine has the other half you could talk to him but I dont think he will let it go !! Time to get the angle grinder and welder out Matt
