thinking of either changing the car or playing with it a little ie remap and exhaust, has anyone had this done?

Exhaust is the easy bit.

Big choice but most people seem to favour Tubi or Kreissieg if youve got the dosh.

Ive gone for a cheaper option of just having the back boxes replaced by baffled tail pipes. The result is an epic sound track but maybe a bit loud as a daily driver.

As for remaps, DMS do one but its the best part of £1500 which is a bit on the high side considering the gains.

Alternatively LeoNardo via Cortese in Bath do some mods or if you want to go stateside, check out Formula Dynamics. No experience of any of them though.

We are currently playing with a Gran Sport, the idea being making the car faster, more torque and ulitmately individual. I cannot discuss the content as yet but we intend to make it a sensible cost, without affecting the engine life or reliability. Our project starts in June and i will keep you posted. Call me if you want any advice

thanks for the advice Aero, £1500 on top of the cost of an exhaust which is probably about the same £, £3000 for what sort of gains are we talking?

I spent £800 on parts for my Lightning a few months back and achieved +100hp eek I'm guessing it would'nt be anywhere near this hehe

I have read claims by people like West tuning of 438bhp from exhaust and remap but have not phoned re costs.

Wicked, sounds interesting, I'm guessing work could be carried out to a std. 4200 also?

Are you posting you findings somewhere that I could look up and keep track of?

The work could be done to a standard 4200, the ouright results may differ from the gran sport but we shall let all know. Hopefully, Auto-Italia may do afeature on this car including a track event against a standard Gransport - If all goes to plan that is, knowing my luck this isn't going to happen. I will keep you posted though

Hi Wicked,

Yes please keep us posted. I will be getting a GS in the near future, and would be interested in a mild improvement to the standard bhp and torque.

Guys

FYI was at Wicked's (Mathew) place today for a minor servicing, and spoke to one of his partners, Simon. He told me that in about 2 weeks they will start working on a 4200 hands-on, testing several mods (incl. exhausts, something they will be doing with Larini).

Ive done one before but only to smooth the car out but i would be more than happy to tune one of these for you for far less than many.
If your willing i am.
For info, ive done countless ferrari, porsche, lambo etc so have plenty of experience but i do love a challenge.
