fellow PHers, anyone have a trailor available for a shot which would take a small TVR T350? only weighs 1100kg, in the aberdeen area, would be in a week or so time.

im taking my car down south to have a service/clutch done and due to de-cats being fitted it is not running right, it does run ok but i don't want to risk damaging it with a 4 hour drive to the service centre and would appreciate a shot of a trailor for a couple of days to drop the car off.

I could of done glasgow but blackpool is a bit far

Though have a HUGE trailer you could hire/borrow but you need something beefy to tow it as trailer is almost a ton empty

Can you not put the cats back on and drive it down if that's all that is making it run rough.

its a bit of a pain in the ass to be honest. also it would save putting some miles on the clock - i plan on doing quite a few this summer with le mans and nurburgring etc.

automedons transporter only takes the one car.

iv managed to get a shot of a vehicle so all sorted! thumbup

Check out the gross train weight before you tow I think you will find that the T350 is a bit heavier than you suggest and a trailer strong enought to legaly carry it is going to be about 1500kgs total nearly 3000kgs. There are very few vehicles that can legaly tow that. Over weight means no insurance be carful I was stopped going down to the factory at Blackpool but we were all correct.

i have weighed my car on the calibrated weighbridge at work and it is 1100kg.

(with the help of a 4 poster ramp at each end of the journey) my car fits on the flatbed transit at my work so won't be towing anything, insurance and licence wise im covered.
