How old were you were you when you got your: Lambo/Ferrari
Discussion
As I got older I found my perspective changed in life (as probably most would too).
When I passed my test I ended up ragging around a 1980 Toyota Starlet. Very quickly tweaked that car and ended up competing in Scottish Hill Climbs (though short lived as I was skint). I certainly had the speed bug.
Over time and probably as a result of a lot of motorway miles I found I was starting to fall into a comfort zone and I knew there would be a point where I'd start looking at, dare I say it....diesels.
Though I'm very happy to report I managed to get there just in the nick of time to ensure the adrenaline gets going again in the form of a Gallardo
. Ripe age of 37.

dreamed of owning a lambo by the time i was 40, actually got a qv when i hit 30, that kept me happy for 8 years, then it was diablo time. murci time hasn't got to me yet. had 3 porsche 911's through my 20's but the lambo experience is a much bigger hit
my favourite saying as i was saving was "never say never"

355 at 26, 360 Spider 6 months later.
Then I bought the cherished plate 30 LE for my 27th and promised myself a Lambo by 30... Got it 6 months later.
I have few vices and it was a good couple of years business wise.
Doesn't matter how old/young you are, just as long as you are able to enjoy in good health.
Good luck to you!

I promised I'd get a myself a 360 by 25. Unfortunately, that's in 2 weeks and I've just bought a flat so the dream is dead.

You made the right choice (although, it might not feel like it now...)
I'm taking some time out of supercars to renovate my house @ the mo. Then I'll have something to enjoy when it's sunny and somewhere to enjoy when it's not.
It's healthy to have targets IMO, even if they're just "superficial cars" (according to GI Jane!)
