.. in Chobham. Does anyone use this garage? It's near enough to get to but their website seems a little vague (also states they're in Camberley, which is a bit like saying Kingston is near Staines).
anyway i digress - need some brake refurbishment on a 968 - can anyone recommend this garage or shall i just stick with Camtune? suggestions appreciated.

They are 2 minutes from where I used to live - I must have driven past them 500 times, but never knew they were there. I could have daved hours

As said they have been around 25 years apparently

Cool, thanks. Will give 'GT 1' a try - and until Ronnoco spice up their advertising we'll be none the wiser whether they are a decent outfit or not, or maybe i could be their first PH customer! scratchchin
Of course i can't name and shame...

I went there once for a warranty repair on my 944, bought from a Porsche specialist local to Ronnoco. Had a knocking noise from the rear brakes. Nice chap, but couldnt diagnose the problem. Went home, took wheel off, 30 minutes later I had diagnosed and fixed the problem. I havent been there since.

I used him for maintenance on my 964 and would use him again. He is very competitve and has a wealth of knowledge but doesn't have the diagnostic equipment for the later porsches so use GT1 for my 996.

I would recommend both but Ronnoco is probably a lot cheaper.

But the chap that started the company (O'Connor) died may years ago, IIRC.
