Just to remind all you wedge heads of the great Le Mans wedge photo shoot gathering on friday morning (13th) somewhere around the arnage/indianapolis section.
Ten is the time. Noise is the game. Loadsa wedges the requirement.

So who's coming?

Come on guys! There has to be more than 3 wedges going!
We need to remind the world what wedge noise is all about.
"Operation Rolling Thunder" will be a challenge with just 3 of us. (Mind you, with a SEAC in that number it might be OK after all!)

Oh my god .. Dad's entered into the age of the computer...

The wedge will be there.. incidently, just got off the ferry ( 2 hours ago) from France, and spent Weds at Le Mans visiting the museum and driving the circiut.

WooHoo ... less than 4 weeks to go

I'm in Maison Blnche as well, parked with the Bristol and Devon/Corwall groups arriving Wed evening.

The Blue Beast should be there as well!

Right, things are currently not goign according to plans
Peninsula have been working to get my new rollbar fitted and the car serviced prior to Le Mans. I was down there last Friday and the car was no where near ready. Im hoping to have the car back sometime this week and will be camping at Expo.

I reckon we can give those fireworks a good run for their money with an impromptu "Who's got the loudest exhaust" sound off in the small hours

Being so close to the track though, we may stuggle to get ourselves noticed

We'll try and make it as it should be some awesome sound. One way to clear a hangover?!
10.am may be a bit early as still on our way down to Maison Blanche early that morning.

See you all there, albeit a little late as we've a couple of slow Porches with us!

Urgent assistance needed!

One of our posse (3 TVRs and a 911 in Maison Blanche) drives a 350 wedgie and is in urgent need of a front lower wishbone before the journey.

He's called TVR and around 30 other 'stockists' but noone has one. I believe the wishbone is actually a ford cortina part c. 1980.

Anyone got one tucked away in their garage?? Any unbeatable suppliers I can pass on? Any other bright ideas.

If we don't get this fixed he'll be going to Le Mans in an MX5, so for Gods sake HELP!!!!!

Al

ps - and this from a 911 driver!
