Or the 'Circuit Guide' books. They're very good. Corner by corner break down, maps and all that stuff.

why do you need one?
have driven there a few times, both regular circuit and rallycross track. good fun! lods of fun!
Some corners have odd lines, drive it and learn but see if you can get an instructor on one of their track days, eg bill baldwin, he will show you the way round!

Circuit Guides are very good for having a reasonable idea of the track before you go. I used one before a trackday at Bedford a couple of years ago and knew instantly where the circuit went, had a rough idea of the speeds, braking points and what to look out for. As it was the full GT circuit, I reckon I was half a day ahead of where I'd have been without it and effectively got half a day's more enjoyment from the event.
BTW worth having some respect for Lydden, it's a good circuit but it can bite.

Looking to enter the next round of the SEMSEC stockhatch series and have never driven the circuit, Just want to go as prepaired as someone who's never driven the circuit can be. I wanted to do a trackday there before racing but have had lots of problems with the car.

we might be doing the same race, I've entered my stockhatch Nova number 123, for that series, next race is June 2nd?
its a great fun track, tricky bit is getting the right line for the fastest bend, paddock, get it right and you get a lovely drift through there, get it wrong and your on the grass!
here's what happened last time out, on bottom straight just missed this flying SAXO

I seam to remember seeing pictures of that crash in autosport.
Really hoping to make it to the 2nd of June meet, I've hardly driven the car in the last 6 months, only really taken it to the MOT station.
I started to change the head gasket at the start of the week so assuming its running tomorrow i'll be there.
having managed to MOT and insure the car so would like a couple of weeks driving it to make sure everything is ok.
Think the only job i've got left is a bit of paintwork and sort out a mounting for the transponder.
This is the car which will be in the way as you lap me!

Can anyone tell me where i can find a detailed track guide for lydden.
You can buy, "Curcuit Guides" from Demon Tweaks and the like, I did, and they are very help full, as Kevin Ritson said. I started curcuit racing this year and the most helpful thing I found was YouTube. Type in the curcuit name and someone will have a drivers-eye-view of the curcuit in cars or on bikes. I have found it invaluable.
