MS banning 360's

Seems like the big stick has been brought out to ban those with modded 360's from live.

Although it looks like quite a few people are saying they havnt modded their boxes but still banned.

Suigestion is if you have, un mod it before you go near live again.

I think they were disconnecting modded 360's since they were launched.

The new thing is that in the US they get a lot more TV shows, films and trailers to download, and many are free/cheaper than what we get in the UK.

To get at this content a lot of people had their system set up to say they were in the US, thereby giving them access to this content. What MS are now doing is disconnecting you if your IP address location doesn't match your system setting location.

No they have allowed modded XBOX360's until now.

I think its good how they can get tv shows and stuff. But it bloody sucks that we don't.

Its coming to the UK in Autumn, as is the Elite SKU , just have some patience.

Mine is now optimised for single play too. No Forza 2 online for me, had an original on pre order too. Cancelled now, no £35 for you MS.

They must be gutted to be missing out on your £35

Its not hacked its a refurb, sent as a replacement for my bust one.

I will be contacting them yet again, for a new one. Will ring them in the morning to see what they say.

I'd guess their second and third words will be "off, Sir" if your console ID is already on the banned list and you're trying to send it in for repair...
