Grommets into cabin and indicator bulb question
Discussion
Two in one question. Done a search and cannot find the size/type of bulb thats used on the 3R indicators, the front headlight ones.
Also i am thinking of upgrading the HU and Speakers (already got speakers and sound deadening) and wanted to find a nice grommet for a power cabkle into the cabin from the battery so i can run an amp behind the passengers seat. If anyone knows how to mount a board to house the amp as well onto the bulkhead section that would be great info too. I know not alot of you care about music, i do

Wast of time.
Unless your going to stay sat in a lay-by with the engine off all day?
I upgraded the HU to one from the latest Sony line (included aux & USB stick inputs). The amp is so much more powerful and the stock Noble speakers are from the same XPlod line so I didn't change them. Also uses same connecters so quick install. Lastly, I ran a jack socket to the panel next to the power socket for SatNav, etc input. Sounds great!
Easy route to run the cable into the cabin from the battery would be next to the inspection panel in the tunnel behind the passenger seat. I used this when my battery melted in Switzerland last year (when "someone" who did some work on my car forgot to heat wrap the exhaust!!) Then you can see what is on the other side of the panel before you drill it..

fitting more speaker is not the issue. A good system could easily comprise of a good set of components up front and a removeable 8inch sub. that would give enough clout if driven hard and sound very nice to boot. you could get away with a box approximately .3 cu ft, or about 5 1/2" by 12" by 16". looking at my luggage set it looks like that would fit with those dimensions. Also it would be easy to make it removeable when needed. am amp would only take up 2 inches of room, maybe even enough room to floor mount?
the std sony HU are pants, really bad.
