Autoroutes : 110kph if raining, 130kph if dry

Single roads are 90kph (80kph if wet)

It's 130kmh (81 MPH) on the main stretches of motorway in the dry but be aware that it drops if it's raining or just bad weather.

There are usually plenty of signs telling you and ignore them at your peril!

Also, don't do what one PHer did last year and get caught doing 130 mph in a 130kmh zone and the proceed to tell them that they mistook mph for kmh...

50 kph in villages and towns. As soon as you pass the sign with the village name on it (oblong with red border) it is 50 until you pass a similar sign with the name crossed out.
