Trolley Jack

Hey all

Need to purchase a trolley jack for the Tuscan. Anything to look for sepc wise - will a standard one do the trick or do i need some form of low loading?

Best to get a low-entry one. I've just bought a beauty from Machine Mart - a Clarke Aluminium racing jack that lifts up to 1.25 tonnes. That rating is fine unless you intent to lift your Tuscan completely in one go which would be a great feat of balance!

Mine also came from Machine Mart, but it's just their standard budget trolley jack. It's fits under the Tusacn Chassis at both the front and rear with just enough clearance and they are much much cheaper. With the old Chimaera i used to have to park the car on a plank to get enough clearance so the Tuscan must have a little more room. Those alli jacks are rarther nice though...

Go for the Clarke one mentioned above.

Cheap ones generally dont go low enough and the Clarke one is £95 and is a quality item. It has the added benefit of a rubber pad on the 'heel' so will not damage your P&J.

I use a really cheap one fom argos with a pad on the lifting saddle. It goes low enough for my slightly lowered Tuscan.

Just reset ride height on Nitrons. It's not down that much on standard, maybe 15mm or so.

Just buy a cheap one and put a piece of wood under the wheels. Simple

As you say, at £27 all-in, they can't be making much of a proffit on these. They do some really good equipment, the Clark professional socket sets are really good value and beautifully made.
