yeah I mean 10k carrying Chris and his supercharger about, what kinda state is it going to be in jester

Seriously though maybe one of the experts on here could comment - just how much better is this going to be over standard cv8 suspension? Really do feel I need to do something with mine but got other areas I want to spend money on for now - would this be a decent upgrade to last a year or two while I concentrate on the engine?

It will be better, no doubt about it. Its an improvement, but its no coilover kit.

anyone with a VXR tried sticking a set of Eibach Pro springs onto the standard suspension? Any comments on how you find it for ride quality, handling?

from my experience changing the springs on to eiback without fitting matched dampers is surefire way to screw chassis dynamics that have taken the manufacturer £XXXXXXX to test and develop for optimum on road performance

I fitted Eibach pro to last car (BMW330d) gave better body control than Bm sport suspension which was fitted to car, but at the expense of ride quality.
I have fitted KW variant 3 coilovers to the Ro, there is a huge improvment in performance, although am talking to KW at the moment because spring rates seem to be too hard.

did you just refit the standard dampers? when i fitted stronger springs to a car it ended up making the car almost pogo over bumps

No the KWs are a coilover kit dampers are 2 way adjustable with low and high speed bump damping.
