I have been having problems with my central locking recently and now it just sits there locking and unlocking itself all day. When I have enough money (getting married shortly eek ) I'll get it all replaced but at the moment I just want to bypass the TVR central locking unit (it's not the meta unit) and use the door locks to lock the car (it's a '94). I have an after market immobiliser fitted anyway. I have identified the wires for the fuel gauge that are routed through the unit but I have no idea what else I need to cut and join up. Has anybody got any experience of this or a diagram they can send me, not through this forum of course.

Thanks in advance

Dan

Thanks for the tip. I have spoken to Carl, he was the one that suggested it was the central locking unit causing the problem. Just wondering if anyone had a diagram to help me sort it.

Does anybody know what wire should be connected to what? I have checked all the colours of the wires from the module and the fuel relays and matched the colours up to the list in the bible. Just unsure as to whether the ignition should go to the fuel pump feed etc.

Dan, the fuel pump is powered by the ECU. The ignition is only sensed.

I'm not sure folks are too keen on these issues being discussed on a public forum....

Hi Dave,

I appreciate people not wanting to divulge that sort of information on a public forum. Was hoping someone could email me to let me know.

Thanks Nick. I'll check it tomorrow when I'm at work. Funnily I was just looking at your post about your new exhaust. Sounds sweet.
