I have a 99T Chim with a Meta M300RC alarm, the trouble is that the remote key fob seems awfully sluggish when activating the alarm and opening the doors.
I'm not sure if the battery has been changed during it's service.
I've opened the fob only to find that the 'Pill' style battery is soldered to the circuit board.
That in itself is not so much of a problem, it's knowing what the part number of the battery is or where to to get one.

Anyone out there got any ideas ?

The bat no. is CR2032 made by energizer Halfrauds sell em, IIRC you need two per fob.

Never seen one soldered!

I have an "X" reg Chim(same?) still fitted with the Meta OE.

On mine the two batteries in each fob are CR1220 3v, they are sitting on top of each other held in to place by a bracket which is soldered to the PCB.
The batteries slide out for replacement - no solder involved.
