My DB9 has now covered 5000 miles and the stone chipping to the front end is frightening.

Aston no longer bake the paintwork and use enviro-friendly paints which I suspect are a lot softer.

Anyone got similar problems?

I had my V8 detailed yesterday and was similarly alarmed at the number of stonechips after only 2000 miles.

Yep, my V8V is bad round the arches, I am having it sprayed on Tuesday as it looks like someone's splashed the side of the car with muddy water all the time.

The roadster I have got coming Aston have fitted the Ventureshield to the bonnet, wing mirrors, lower bumper and rear aches as part of the deal, which should hopefully stop this happening.
