As Im waiting long time for new Nonle Im considering an Atom. Looked at web site but cant find Model range.

Anyone tell me what are current models, the do's and dont's when buying an Atom, and basically as many tips as possible about owning and driving one.

Thanks,

Alan

How long is the wait for the Noble? You'll wait 8 months ish for an Atom, and second hand ones are rarer than hens teeth.

Model range currently is

Atom 160, 220, 245, 275, 300

With the number showing the HP of the motor. The 160 uses a different engine to the others and has a five speed box 'vs six speed in the others. 275 and 300 are supercharged.

Good source for info is www.atomclub.com forum

Wait is currently 8 months and as Stephanie says used cars are very very rare

Thanks. Sold my Noble last year cos thought I was getting new model in Jan but changes within Noble mean Ill be waiting another 8-12 months.

8 Months fopr an Ariel . . . . . . drat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looking at the Atomclub am i right in saying that the 245 is prob the best for UK and in my case Irish roads as the higher models have too much power and are geared more towards US?

Not quite the case, the US cars are made under license in the US and use different power plants. If you are talking road use only then a 160 will still be faster than most stuff. The 245 is probably the most popular choice as it offers an easy upgrade to a 300 if necessary.
