Congrats to Blackpool FC on getting to the play off finals. A great effort. I hope there were more than a few ex TVR workers at Bloomfield Rd today and at Wembley for the final. clap

Pleased for Simon Grayson. His dad Adrian is a legend in North Yorkshire and has coached a lot of good young cricketers. He also produced one son who played in the Premiership (Simon) and one who played cricket for England (Paul).

Hope they get to the Championship and bring a little cheer to the town.

Whoope doobey, that's going to make a vast difference to the poor sods who lost their jobs, some ponces kicking an over inflated pigs bladder about a field!

What a strange response.

I dont follow footy at all but Im sure many of the ex employees of TVR are more than pleased with their local teams good fortune.

Must have been a bit embarrassing being publicly slapped down by the chairman, you being such a big shot in the TVRCC and all?

This place is more like a kindergarden than a car enthusiasts forum, no wonder so many people have quite this site.

Oh come on guys, only arseing about, just that sometimes it makes me laugh the way blokes assume all other blokes give a stuff about football and if you don't your somehow considered strange. I made the comment as football is such a holly cow its tempting to metaphorically poke in the arse with a sharp stick occasionally.

Don't even say that as a joke!!! The football club already has a Latvian investor who appears to be doing a good job.

Funny you should say that as Stanley Matthews signed my old man when he was only 14 for Port Vale.
