HELP WHICH ONE SP6/4.2/4.5

Been on here for a short time and reading a few things about the speed 6
How are the engines in these have seen a few posts that they are a little
more prone to spitting its guts out?

if you look on the speed six engine forum you will see LOADS and LOADS of info. Basically the consensus is the V8 is likely to last MUCH MUCH longer and is almost bulletproof if treated well. It seems that if you have a speed6 4.0 from 99-2004 with 30k without a rebuild on it your doing well. I'd say do a search as there are loads of threads on this question, it seems to be asked about once a month at the moment.

If the engine has had a rebuild at a tvr garage do they replace with better parts or standard parts .I guess it depends on the garage

Early parts seemed to be sub standard and the latter parts seem to cure most of the faults, I can't see TVR Power giving a 2 year warranty if they knew they wouldn't last.
