Another Newbie Question......
Discussion
Just sold my VX220 after 3 years of happy motoring. I am presently "on holiday" with the forces for a while and will be looking to purchase a new toy on my return (Dec).
I want something at least as fast as VX (under 5.5 sec), fun to drive, usable as daily drive, convertible, not mad priced to run, will not depreciate too much.
Yeah I know lots to ask! Considering a 111R, M3 Convertible, older 911, Exige, (if they drop in price by the winter) and Tuscan. I adore the look of the tuscan but would probably be looking at 15-18k and not wanting to throw too much money at it.
My Qu's - can these pass track day noise regs and do they fair OK on track?
Are they "edgy" to drive? - I like to enjoy my driving rather than being nervous of the back going etc
Would you guys happily go on long trips with your Tuscan? ie Bavaria- 11 hr drive?
Is my budget too low to run this car? It would spoil the experience if it sucked all my cash!
I have not driven Tuscan yet (and won't until I return) but how difference from the VX experience will it be?
Cheers people - in my free time I will mainly be trawling through your forums.....must admit that inital trawl has made me think that I will not cope with the cost of this.....

I would be looking at stacking up a fairt amount of miles on this - 8k a year minimum - is that Ok for Tuscans?
Provided you've got pockets deep enough. Allow approx 3k per year operational costs for those sort of miles. Get one with an engine rebuilt as recently as possible and a recent new clutch. If not, allow 5k for a rebuild and 1k for a clutch.Gassing Station | Tuscan | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
