Been on business to Delhi this week. Unfortuntley not much time for sightseeing, the only time we really saw daylight was in our car travelling to and from the office. Roads are crazy out there I really wanted a drive it looked like fun! I didn't want to take my full kit so just to my 300D, kit lens and 50mm so I didn't have to worry about any of it. Anyhoo here are some shots, mainly taken from the car...

What's the weather like out there? I'm off 1st week in july and have been warned of 45 Deg heat, and high humidity!

Cheers, it just touched 43 this week. We had one night of heavy rain and lightning too. I wasn't really sure what to expect but it was much better than I thought. I was recruiting Software Testers and the quality was very good.

Your idea of little shots from a car whilst on business are far better than most holiday photographs.
Never been to India but some of the scenes remind me of visits to countries such as Brazil, Thailand and Egypt.

I'm hoping to get to India sometime in the not too distant future. Wets the old appetite indeed.

Greetings from Dubai!

That brings back memories ! I see living standards are rising, not more than two people on a bike anywhere !

Absolutely, was out in India for a while in the late '90s and thoroughly enjoyed it . . . co-incidentally was helping set up some offshore development stuff ;-) . . . Madrass and Bangalore . . . would really love to get out there again . . .

Great pic's, especially given the circumstance

Despite my love of travelling, aside from the extreme north (near the Himalayas') I just don't fancy India. Can't put my finger on why, but generally I seem to prefer Oriental Asia to Indian Asia.
