Hi Andy,
No I wouldn't. Its a great looking car, sounds amazing, goes well and people generally love AM's but...... Mine just kept on having reoccurring problems and since i sold it the new owner has sent the car back another 3 times as the passenger door does not lock and the boot was like a well.
The GT3 might not to be everyone preference over a V8 but there is no doubt its a better drivers car and hopefully it wont be as troublesome.

Aren't AMV8's similar money to 2004/5 Gallardo's? If I was spending that sort of money on a non-911 the Gallardo would get my vote.
They are not far apart and i was thinking the same thing when i wrote my earlier post.
Although would feel more confident parking the AM in london streets than the gallardo
Much like previous posters, the look, presence and sound of the AM is a real selling point. I had one for 5 days once but it broke down - starter motor i believe - and was sort of hoping i was just unlucky! In 2 minds really. Absolutely love my 911 but you cant help but think the grass may be greener
